Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By inviting Juke ("the Bot") to your Discord server or using any of its commands, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must remove the Bot from your server and discontinue use immediately.
These Terms apply to all users, server administrators, and anyone who interacts with the Bot in any capacity. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time without prior notice.
2. Description of Service
Juke is a music playback bot for Discord that allows users to search and stream audio content from supported platforms including YouTube and Spotify. Additional features include queue management, loop modes, per-server configuration, and automated session persistence.
3. Eligibility
You must comply with Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines to use Juke. You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Discord and, by extension, this Bot.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Bot to:
- Stream, distribute, or reproduce copyrighted content in a manner that violates applicable law.
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users or server members.
- Attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or otherwise interfere with the Bot's operation.
- Automate interactions with the Bot in ways not intended by its design.
- Use the Bot for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
- Flood commands in a manner that degrades performance for other servers.
5. Server Administrator Responsibilities
By adding Juke to your server, the server administrator ("Admin") accepts responsibility for how the Bot is used within that server. Admins may configure the Bot's behaviour (including permitted channels, DJ roles, and feature toggles) and are responsible for ensuring appropriate use by their members.
Admins may remove the Bot at any time by kicking it from their server. Upon removal, server-specific configuration and session data will be retained for a reasonable period before automatic deletion.
6. Content and Copyright
Juke does not host, store, or own any audio content it streams. Audio is sourced via third-party platforms and streamed transiently. It is the responsibility of the end user to ensure their use of streamed content complies with applicable copyright law and the terms of the originating platform.
We do not encourage or condone the use of this Bot to circumvent any platform's terms of service or intellectual property protections.
7. Availability and Modifications
We make no guarantee of continuous availability. The Bot may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time, with or without notice.
We may add, remove, or alter features at our discretion. Continued use of the Bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to block any user or server from using the Bot at our sole discretion, including for violations of these Terms or abuse of the service. No refund or compensation will be provided in connection with any such action, as the Bot is provided free of charge.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Bot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Bot will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. Use is entirely at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developers of Juke shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Bot, including but not limited to loss of data or service interruptions.
11. Contact
